You can choose any one from the following gifts
Woven White · 3.2 oz · UV Treated
Reflects. And Protects From Frost.
A 3.2 oz UV-stabilized white woven polypropylene. Strong, heavy and permeable — and because it reflects rather than absorbs, it doubles as a frost blanket.
DeWitt Landscape Fabric
White Ground Cover is a 3.2 oz, UV-stabilized, white woven polypropylene fabric. It is strong and heavy, which makes it resistant to tearing, puncturing and weed penetration, and it is permeable so water and nutrients reach the plants.
The white surface is the reason to choose it. Where black absorbs heat and light, white reflects — and because of those reflective properties combined with the thickness of the material, this fabric can be used as an alternative to a frost blanket in the cold months.
Placed over plants and shrubs it protects against light frost by retaining the day's heat and blocking the night's wind. No black ground cover does that, which makes this the only fabric in the range with two seasonal jobs.

Pick the option that matches the job. Every product here is the same fabric within its line — only the size or weight changes.
Seven DeWitt fabrics, and the first question is always the same: is the fabric going to live at the surface, or be buried? Woven fabrics belong at the surface; non-woven fabrics belong underground.
| Fabric | Construction | Weight | Position | Job |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sunbelt Ground Cover | Woven | 3.2 oz | Surface | General purpose weed control and water conservation |
| Ultraweb 3000 | Woven | 2.2 oz | Surface | Cost effective cover with the highest UV protection |
| White Ground Cover | Woven | 3.2 oz | Surface | Reflective white, and doubles as a frost blanket |
| Pro 5 & 20 Year Weed Barrier | Woven, needle-punched | 4.1 & 5 oz | Surface | Heavy-duty weed barrier under mulch, rock and soil |
| Non-Woven Geotextile | Non-woven | 4, 4.5, 8 oz | Buried | Drainage, filtration, separation and cushioning |
| Soil Filter Fabric | Non-woven | 3.1–6 oz | Buried | Behind retaining walls and wrapping drainage pipe |
| Pond Underlayment | Non-woven | 4, 6, 8 oz | Buried | Protecting pond liners from sharp objects |
Not sure which applies? The DeWitt landscape fabric hub walks through all seven by what the fabric has to do, with the full comparison in one place.
DeWitt Fabric HubWhite reflects light and heat where black absorbs them. That suits situations where light should be returned upward and the ground kept cooler — and it is what lets this fabric double as a frost blanket.
Yes. Because of its reflective properties and the thickness of the material it works as an alternative to a frost blanket, protecting against light frost by retaining the day's heat and blocking night wind.
1,800 sq ft for the 6′, 3,600 for the 12′ and 4,500 for the 15′. Allow extra for overlaps — and more again if you will also use it for frost protection, since covering plants needs more width than the bed alone.
Same 3.2 oz woven construction, UV treated and permeable. The difference is color: Sunbelt is black and blocks 99.7% of light for maximum weed control; white reflects and adds frost protection.
