Ultraweb 3000

Ultraweb 3000 is the woven ground cover to reach for when cost effectiveness matters. Made of 100% woven black polypropylene and treated with UV protection, it is built for outdoor areas exposed to prolonged direct sunlight.

The comparison that matters is not with other fabrics but with black mulching plastic. Standard plastics wear out after a few years and pass no water at all. This carries the highest UV protection available in the DeWitt woven range and retains excellent water infiltration, so it keeps working season after season.

Ultraweb 3000 Questions

How much do I need?

Work out the area in square feet: 3,600 for the 6′ x 600′ or 12′ x 300′, and 4,800 for the 8′ x 600′ or 16′ x 300′. Allow extra for overlaps.

Two rolls cover the same area — which one?

Choose on width. Narrow rolls suit rows, borders and nursery aisles; wide rolls suit open ground where fewer seams across matters.

How does it compare to black plastic sheeting?

Standard black mulching plastics wear out after a few years and pass no water. This is a woven fabric with the highest UV protection available and excellent water infiltration.

How is it different from Sunbelt?

Weight. Ultraweb is 2.2 oz and more cost effective; Sunbelt is 3.2 oz with more tear and puncture resistance for areas taking more traffic.
