Dandy Curb Sack Sediment Inlet Filters
On a combination inlet, sediment has two ways in: down through the grate, and along the gutter straight through the curb opening. Most inlet protection addresses one and leaves the other wide open. The rugged, patented Dandy Curb Sack covers both.
It hangs beneath the grate like a sack, with an open top and internal cradle straps, and adds a cylindrical portion that seats up against the curb to block the curb opening. Its unique design filters sediment-laden water with ease, and it can be reused again and again.
Three sizes, all at the same price — so specify the one that fits the grate. The one thing to get right on install is orientation: the cylinder must end up against the curb face.

How do I work out which size I need?
Measure the grate the sack will be fitted around. Three sizes are stocked — 24″ x 24″, 40″ x 40″ and 50″ x 50″ — all at the same price.
How is this different from the Dandy Sack?
Both hang beneath the grate, but the Curb Sack adds a cylindrical portion that seals the curb opening as well. Use the Dandy Sack where the grate is the only route in, and the Curb Sack on a combination inlet.
Which way round does it go?
The cylindrical portion must end up against the curb. Fitted the wrong way round the grate is protected but the curb opening is left open, which is where most gutter-borne sediment enters.
Is there a minimum order?
Yes, five units, in any mix of the three sizes.
